MONTANA
I was lucky enough to spend almost three weeks in Montana this summer working for Alpengirl, an awesome outdoor adventure company for girls. I guided Alpengirl's Montana Photojournalism trip with two co-guides. We got a super-talented, silly, sweet group of teenage girls. The trip consisted of not only photography lessons, but a backpacking section in the Tobacco Roots, rafting on the Yellowstone and Gallatin Rivers, canoeing on the Snake River at Henry's Fork, horseback riding in the breathtaking Centennial Valley, touring Yellowstone National Park including the Lamar Valley, and camping throughout these beautiful parts of Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming.

OREGON
My first visit to Oregon FLEW by. A week was hardly enough to explore Smith Rock, mountain bike in a rainforest that reminded me of Avatar, check out the college town of Eugene, take in the dramatic coast, walk around crazy Portland, and see the Columbia River.
