Portraits, Encore, With A Bonus: Dessert.

This shoot featured local wellness guru Ariel Mann. She cooks nutritious, organic foods, is a yoga instructor, and provides wellness retreats alongside her mother, Carol Mann. It was very cool to see these two cooking side by side, meet their rescued pets, and taste Ariel's delicious desserts.

At this moment, I conveniently forgot that I'm not supposed to eat gluten. Yummm, pumpkin chocolate chip muffins.

I love shooting portraits - capturing the essence of someone or what they do in a photograph is difficult, but when you feel like you've captured even just a tiny taste of that essence, it is so rewarding.

I had the pleasure of photographing my friends Liz & Jeremy last week; Liz is pregnant, expecting in May. She is looking beautiful; they are both glowing.
